Humble Beginnings Counseling Agency, LLC is provided in a clinic setting and provides outpatient mental health care and behavioral health personal care services to children and adults who meet medical eligibility to receive mental health care through the MHR program.
These services are reimbursed by Louisiana Medicaid.

Community Psychiatric and Support Treatment Services
Community Psychiatric Support And Treatment Services means mental health rehabilitation services designed to reduce disability from mental illness, restore functional skills of daily living, build natural supports, and achieve identified person-centered goals or objectives through counseling, clinical psycho-education, and ongoing monitoring needs as set forth in an individualized treatment plan.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services
Psychosocial rehabilitation services means mental health rehabilitation services designed to assist the individual with compensating for or eliminating functional deficits and interpersonal or environmental barriers associated with mental illness through skill building and supportive interventions to restore and rehabilitate social and interpersonal skills and daily living skills.
Crisis Intervention
Crisis intervention refers to the methods used to offer immediate, short-term help to individuals who experience an event that produces emotional, mental, physical and/or behavioral distress or problems.
